I'm 18 and I live in Birmingham, England. This is my tumblr's fourth year of existence so I've used it for various things in the past, but at the moment the main things I post are photos I take, and photos by photographers I come across whose photos I love. I love The Bluetones, Muse, and the UK comedy gang. If you were to look at my archive you'd find a 365 days photo project from 2009/2011 and a 72 days photo thing I did a couple of summers ago. I use various other websites to ramble and post photos as well, all the links are up there. ^

I got another film developed today. I like Lomo CN 400 for gigs even though it is a grainy mofo.

Now I won’t be posting 100489748967387 photos every day, I decided to make my blog look a bit more blog-like. Hopefully along with this I will make it more blog-like in general, because I want to use it more and write more. I’ll obviously still be posting loads of photos as well though.
As my first blog-like post, sans pictures, I thought I’d do another “what I’m looking forward to” thing, like I did in the old’un days before I did my 365 photos. Here ‘tis:
Things I’m looking forward to:
- Possibly Mark Morriss on in Digbeth, in early April, which will rule as it won’t take an hour to get there and I won’t have to rely on either parental driving us there.
- Ash on in Digbeth in late April. Despite Ash being one of my favourite bands ever, we’ve never actually seen them live. An outrage? I think so.
- The Bluetones on at the 02 Academy in May. Obviously any Bluetones gig is a pile of fun sandwiches. Hopefully, if all goes to plan, I will be getting a photographer’s pass for this one. Hopefully. I’m also very happy about the fact that this one is also in town so will be a doddle to get to.
- New Bluetones albumen. So. Excited. I don’t feel any more detail needs to be added here.
- Big long summer break between school & college. I can’t wait for time to just do what I want and not have exams and work in the way. I plan on watching a lot of films, reading plenty o’ books and buying hundreds of rolls of (preferably Fuji Velvia) film and using them all ‘cause of the sunshine. Yep, I live life on the wild side. (And I know it’s only March. Shuttup.)
- Muse in September. Same for this one really, no extras needed.
- aaand I know there was at least one other thing I was going to put, but I’ve forgotten it…
