I'm 18 and I live in Birmingham, England. This is my tumblr's fourth year of existence so I've used it for various things in the past, but at the moment the main things I post are photos I take, and photos by photographers I come across whose photos I love. I love The Bluetones, Muse, and the UK comedy gang. If you were to look at my archive you'd find a 365 days photo project from 2009/2011 and a 72 days photo thing I did a couple of summers ago. I use various other websites to ramble and post photos as well, all the links are up there. ^

I got a Lomography CN 400 film back today and it confused me. The photos are a bit weird. I thought I knew what I was getting with it because I’ve used it twice before, but now I realise I’ve only ever really used it for gigs and only taken a couple of photos with it in proper light. It’s so grainy it hurts. Still, I do quite like most of the photos.

I bought a new lens! I’d been wanting this lens (Nikon 35mm 1.8) for years really, but despite wanting it and having the money for it I didn’t get it until yesterday. But I’m very glad I have it now because I love it. Here’s a photo of my Zenit E (The Beast) to show the deliciousness of the f/1.8.

I’ve finished my photography book! So now I can post some of the cool things I’ve done recently. To celebrate, we made our mutter a birthday cake that could only be described as amazing. Look, they worked! This is one of my favourites.
The film is expired by more than 10 years and some of them are kind of purple so I’m assuming the two things are linked. It’s also really grainy but I like it. I’m really happy everything in my actual Zenit has worked.
I’ll post more here later and put them on lomography but first we’re going to make a cake!
