I'm 18 and I live in Birmingham, England. This is my tumblr's fourth year of existence so I've used it for various things in the past, but at the moment the main things I post are photos I take, and photos by photographers I come across whose photos I love. I love The Bluetones, Muse, and the UK comedy gang. If you were to look at my archive you'd find a 365 days photo project from 2009/2011 and a 72 days photo thing I did a couple of summers ago. I use various other websites to ramble and post photos as well, all the links are up there. ^

This got here today. It’s an A2 print of one of Scott Morriss’ artworks for the 5th album. It’s beautiful. I must buy a frame right away.

I bought my lovely friend a lovely book for her 18th birthday this Sunday, 100 Years of Fashion Illustration, and it’s so lovely that I wanted to share a couple of the things that caught my eye the most when I had a quick flick through it.
The one on the left, from 1944, is anonymous and the one on the right is by René Gruau.

Day 34 of 72. 29th July 2010.
I saw Flatpack Festival mention, on Twitter, about these being painted on Paradise Forum/Central Library a few days ago, but I sort of forgot about it. But then we saw them on our visit to the Waterhall. I quite like them, myself. As you can see, the building itself is pretty ugly anyway so I rather like them being there.
