Day 12 of 77. 7th July 2012.
We’re both exhausted but all our hard work (Izzy did more hard work than me) paid off because the cake stall was very successful and we sold everything! We were considering going to Newcastle-under-Lyme to see Mark Morriss tonight but I don’t think I can stand up and it’s tooo faaaar.
Day 11 of 77. 6th July 2012.
Spent the day baking cakes for Izzy’s cake stall. She made coffee and walnut cakes yesterday and today we made around 95 cupcakes and cookie dough, and I still have to make 2 lemon drizzles and assemble the victoria sponges later. If you live anywhere near Bournville/Cotteridge you should come to Cocomad tomorrow and buy some off us. I’ll give you mate’s rates. I won’t really. But come anyway.
Day 41 of 72. 5th August 2010.
Can’t stop making cakes.
Today my sister got up at like 8 o’clock or something which was really weird considering she doesn’t usually get up until around 11:30. When she got up, she woke me up a bit and I thought I’d slept in for ages. She forced me to go to town again. :( But because we went so early we got home just after 12, very strange. So then I made these cakes. I bought a long sleeved t-shirt in town, from the child’s section, the boy child’s section, in H&M so that only cost me £3.99, wahey! But I’ve been feeling really dizzy all day today, and I’m surprised I haven’t fallen over. Yet.
Day 38 of 72. 2nd August 2010.
The cake we made for mah sister’z birthday, three layers, probably the best cake we’ve ever made. Because something nearly always goes wrong when we make them. (I’ve made good ones on my own before though, that might say something…) But nothing did on this one, it was nice n’ risen, it didn’t stick to the tin, and it tasted lavley.
