Rainbow tiems!

Needless to say, the whole time I was there, I had The Bluetones’ ‘Down at the Reservoir’ in my head.

The reservoir place I mentioned yesterday, you can see the ugly fence around the edge of it. The area it’s in is really weird. There’s this big expanse of water and the walks around it look quite nice, and if you look out into the distance a bit you can see rolling hills and fields and things like that. My momma was saying how weird it is sometimes when she remembers how close we actually are to countryside when we’re just a 20 minute train journey from the city centre. I often think that myself. But then on the opposite side to the hills and fields are council flats and other stuff. It feels really weird. And I had no idea any of it existed when it’s about a ten minute car journey from our house. I really know very, very little about where I live.

Been meaning to do more splashy photos for a while and since I didn’t make a cake today I didn’t really have much around to photograph. I don’t mind them but I don’t think they’re as good as the last ones I did. Like this one. Though I did put a knife in there to make it splash out a bit more.
