Happy New Year, here is a photo I took last year because I am so gosh darn busy finishing off my photography book that I have no time whatsoever to take any photos I actually want to take. However, I do write this post with the exciting news that the developing of the film was a complete success and all I need now is a scanner to actually see the photos… or some spare time to make prints.

Taken with the lovely Phenix I borrowed from college (that I want to keep forever) and Kodak Portra 800.

Kathleen’s farm at 7:50 yesterday morning.

I was just looking through my folder of all my film photos, and for some reason when I looked at this one I liked it a million times more than I ever have done before, and I’ve looked at it quite a lot because I used it in one of my photography books. Weird, that.

Also it may have been the first photo I ever took with my Olympus Trip 35.

Like I said, most of the photos on this film are from when it snowed, so nobody’s really going to want to look at them at this time of the year.

However, I’m still going to post the ones I like the most so you’ll just have to be confused.

This is one of the best surprises I’ve had from getting a roll of film back, I love forgetting that I’ve taken a photo and it then coming out awesome.
